Re-Editions sconce collection
With Re-Editions, six Dutch design studios are coming together in one collection. All the editions have been made with sustainable materials, and all show the signature design style of each designer.
The Re-Editions collection has been awarded 2022 Best of Year sconce award from Interior Design.
Pictured above is my own version made with used sanding discs. It’s not the first time that I made use of sanding discs. I collected sanding discs for this edition of the Re-Editions wall lamp collection, one of the few paper-based products that can’t be re-used, and created the front of the sconce with them. In 2016 I used the discs collected at Design Academy Eindhoven as a clocks face to make large clocks.
All the editions have been made with sustainable materials, and all show the signature design style of each designer. With editions by Teun Zwets, Studio CTT, Studio mo man tai, Sandra Keja Planken, White Noise Dada and my own version.
